2 Cor. 8:12 says, “For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have. ”Generosity is a decision. It’s not based on income or wealth. There are rich people who are generous and rich people who are not. There are poor people who are generous and poor people who are not. Generosity is a decision. If you’re working a low-paying part-time job that only pays a little bit of money, and you decide to be generous, guess what? You’ll probably be generous if you ever have a full-time job that pays a lot of money. It’s not about your income or checking account balance. Generosity is a decision.
