Romans 8:18, “ For I consider that the sufferings of
this present time are not worthy to be compared
with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”

The promise of every true believer - the Hope of Glory! Often, this is called ‘having an eternal perspective’ and I think this is one of the greatest tools we have. Keeping our hearts and minds upon Heaven.

One day we will see Jesus face to face and all the past will be replaced with inexpressible joy! These temporary “tents”, this mortal body, will put on immortality and will be eternally with the LORD!

In the best of times and even in those trying times we have the promise that greater things are in store!
This also reminds me of Jesus’ words in Luke 21:28 “look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” And O’ what a day, that will be!
