Service of Hope and Comfort

A Service of Hope and Comfort: Sunday, December 10 at 1:30pm, Please join us for a Service of Hope and Comfort at Union Presbyterian Church. It is difficult to experience the holidays after a loved one dies. The service will provide an opportunity to remember those we’ve lost and honor your loved ones. There will be a variety of music, scriptures and a sermon that will help you find hope and comfort in knowing that you are not alone.

Lunch will be served at 12:30 prior to the service. RSVP via email to or by calling Krista Johnston at 412-519-2902 by November 24, 2023.

Union Church Christmas Caroling

Union Church Christmas Caroling - Saturday. Dec 16. We will meet at 9:45am at Heritage Valley Senior Living. To carpool from Union - meet at 9:30am in parking lot.

We will carol for residents at Heritage Village and then break into teams to visit and sing for our church shut ins. Please bring a dozen cookies or treats to share with nursing home residents.

A cocoa social will follow in the Fellowship Hall of the church.

Food Pantry Dec 12

Food Pantry Tuesday, December 12 at 6:00pm Fellowship Hall

Please place your donation of non-perishable grocery items in the “Food Pantry” bin located near the Fellowship Hall entrance.

We need: pasta sauce, pasta, tuna fish, chiken (can), tortilla chips, salsa, cake mix, icing, green beans, toilet paper, soap bars, dental products, lotion.. Also gently used (or new) clothing, shoes, coats, jackets, and household items are welcome. If you know someone who could use support right now, please call the church and ask for the Deacons.
