The Jubilee Project

The Southview Seventh-day Adventist Church will initiate a community outreach project called "The Jubilee Project" in conjunction with Pastor Sean Lee's Doctor of Ministry research. This research is focused on preventing youth homelessness by mentoring homeless families, especially focused on parents. Addressing homelessness is a crucial work our congregation needs to engage in since homelessness is prevalent in the Twin Cities metro area. Furthermore, this cannot be done without your participation. If you want to participate in the community outreach project, please talk to Pastor Sean Lee as soon as possible. You will be given orientations and will be making a direct impact on people's lives. Let's make a difference in our community!

To participate, you must be:

  • A legal adult
  • Able to drive
  • Preferably have work and education experiences
  • Have experience in helping (mentoring) others
  • Willing to go the extra mile to help others
  • This project lasts about 15 weeks. (No daily or weekly meetings required, but it will be based on your schedule).
  • A warm heart to care and help
