Chapel Class - The Not So "Minor" Prophets - Hosea taught by David Jackson: Can you imagine what it would be like if God were married? While the idea is absurd from a spiritual perspective, it is suggested in the book of Hosea. The prophet's marriage reflects God's relationship with his chosen people 700 years before the time of Jesus. The lessons teach us about the seriousness of God's love for sinners who need salvation and redemption. As Paul says, "Everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope."
