AS AB957 PASSES IN THE CALIFORNIA SENATE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE ,WHAT COMES NEXT & WHAT YOU CAN DO?

AB 957 passed through the Senate Judiciary Committee, and will now go to the entire Senate for a final vote. This will be the last stop before AB957 is sent to the Governor for his signature.

In short, AB957 states a parent who does NOT affirm their child's chosen gender identity will be regarded as engaging in actions equating to child abuse.

Should the Governor sign AB957 into law, parents will be forced to adopt the state-sanctioned position regarding gender identity or risk losing custody of their child.
