This year marks the 4th annual Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt. We serve hundreds of kids with special needs and mobility issues of any age. Our participants are able to enjoy a carnival-like atmosphere with face painting, balloons, games, petting zoo, spin art and, of course, pictures with the bunny. For many, this is the first Easter egg hunt that they’ve been able to attend because traditional community events are too competitive or are not adaptive. We offer specialized eggs for kids needs, for example, we have reachers for kids in wheelchairs and beeping eggs for children with visual impairments. We are an all-volunteer group and the event is completely free of charge for families.
