LEGACY OF GRACE- PHASE 3

On Wednesday, February 19, we signed a contract with Summit Structures to proceed with Phase 3 of our building. Join us in praising the Lord and continuing to pray as we move forward with this project. For more information on Phase 3, click here.

MISSIONS IN MAY

Each year we promote Missions in May. This is an opportunity to contribute to the fund which is used for a variety of mission endeavors that exceed GCC's annual missions budget. We ask that you consider giving.

Each Sunday service in May, we will highlight key efforts that these contributions support.

You can give via check (designate to Misssions in May), the Realm app, or online, select the "Missions in May" fund. If you give through the app or online, we ask that you cover the transaction cost associated with the contribution.

SEWING CLASS

Julie Harris will be teaching the first class on Thursday, May 22 (table runner) from 10:00am-1:00pm at GCC; the first class will have a max of 15 people (it is at capacity). If there is a large response to the class, additional dates may be added.

ESL MINISTRY

Beginning in August, we will begin an ESL ministry here at GCC. ESL classes will be taught on Monday evenings as a means of serving and reaching the Spanish community in Huntsville. There will be an opportunity for Spanish-speaking and non-Spanish-speaking members to serve in this ministry.

There will be an informational meeting on May 25 after the 2nd service to learn more about this ministry and how you can participate.

The total amount raised so far in the Legacy of Grace- Phase 3 Capital Campaign is $104,665. The campaign began on 9/29/24, and the amount raised is accurate as of 5/4/25. For more information on this building project, click here.

Community groups are a primary means for developing deep and meaningful relationships with other believers at GCC. These groups are hosted in homes and meet on the 2nd & 4th weeks of each month. Community groups are primarily structured to foster fellowship among those at GCC, which should lead to informal opportunities for service, encouragement, and friendship outside of these contexts. These groups are largely geographically based and are open to all age groups. Consequently, these contexts have become one of the primary ways to encourage cross-generational relationships among the congregation. PRAYER FOR MISSIONARIES

Every Sunday morning, from 7:30-8:00 AM, a group of individuals comes together to pray for our missionaries in The Expositors Seminary (TES) Room. There is no formal commitment or anything you need to do ahead of time. If you would like to participate, please do.
