        A. The big 5-0!
          1. Pentecost means “fiftieth”
              1) Passover pictures His death as the Lamb of God.
             2) The Feast of Firstfruits pictures His resurrection.
             3) Pentecost pictures the creation of the church.
         2. At Pentecost Jewish believers were baptized.
         3. Pentecost was a once-for-all event
