Happy Spring!!
We are so blessed to have such a diverse school and will be taking the month of April to learn more about the countries represented here in our classrooms. We would like to invite any family members who are interested, to come in and share a bit about their heritage with their child's class. You could read a children's book, teach some common words in your home language, dance to a traditional song, or share about holidays you celebrate as a family. Please reach out to your child's teacher if you are interested in coming in. We would love to have you!! On Thursday, April 11th from 5:30pm-7:00pm, we would like to celebrate together with all our families during our MVCDS Family Potluck/Multicultural Feast! All our children, their families, and staff will be invited to bring in a nut-free food item to share and enjoy time together (more details below).
Please take a look at all the important dates listed below and mark your calendars for our annual Trike-a-thon, Family Day Picnic, and Pre-k graduation coming up in May and June.
