  • Dr. Nate Watkins joined PCC in 2014 and served in the Medical Ministry. He has been committed to nursing and has a major role within the healthcare field. Dr. Watkins earned his diploma from Bear Creek High School, then an Associates degree in nursing from San Joaquin Delta College. Having a deep desire to serve in the field of nursing, Dr. Nate went on to earn both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in nursing from Grand Canyon University as well as his Doctoral degree in Nursing from Aspen University. His love for serving others is what inspires his daily work to encourage his peers through demonstrating leadership and to mentor youth through speaking engagements. Dr. Watkins is an amazing humanitarian and selfless leader, who promotes education on every level which has led to the contribution of the "Nate Watkins" scholarship. Deadline for entry has been extended to May 31, 2022.

  • Scholarship Criteria:

    1)    Must be a PCC member

    2)   Provide proof of current enrollement in a Community, State, or University College (part-time or full-time)

    3)   A Personal Statement (tell us about yourself, describe your financial need and how you plan to use the funds, if awarded - 500 word maximum)

    4)    Reference Letter (could be from a counselor, coach, employer, principal, teacher, pastor - no relatives)

    5)    Have a minimum Grade Point Average of 2.5 (provide proof of GPA)

     

  • Are you a PCC Member?

  • Attatch proof of enrollment in a community, state, or university college.

  • Upload a personal statement (no more than 500 words) telling us about yourself, describe your financial need and how you plan to use the funds, if awarded.

  • Attatch a reference letter (could be from a counselor, coach, employer, principal, teacher, pastor - no relatives)

  • Do you have a minimum Grade Point Average of 2.5?

  • Attatch unofficial transcripts.
