Overcoming codependence is a journey of hope and healing. This 14-week study is designed to provide an understanding of codependent tendencies. Learning of, and healing of, codependent tendencies - which is a learned coping skill - are behaviors and responses that primarily are due to a faulty belief system that stemmed from various areas of our life, which has caused us to live in a place of bondage to these behaviors, instead of freedom through the love of Christ. The goal of going through this study is to stop the cycle of this faulty belief system and replace it with God's belief system based on His truth and love, and to move us from a place of surviving to a place of significance and thriving in the Lord.

The study will be led by JoAnne Brinson and Denise Jones.

JoAnne has know the Lord for over 20 years, and comes from a family of dysfunction including neglect, rejection and exposure to domestic violence. Through her continued healing and understanding of God's truth and love, He has given her a heart of compassion to come along side others in their process of healing to know the freedom that only comes through Christ. She has many years experience in both the secular and Christian workplaces providing supports in recovery, behavioral health, case management and substance abuse counseling. 

Denise has walked with the Lord for over 30 years and has worked with others in recovery for 20 years. Through her own recovery and continued healing she is passionate about others receiving freedom and knowing God's grace & faithfulness. We are more than Conquers in Jesus! He has victoriously ransomed us for such a time as this.

Both JoAnne and Denise have led various Bible studies, groups and served in Women and Children's ministries
