Dear Union Church Family,
At last, the holiest and most sacred season of the church year has arrived! As we enter into Holy Week this coming Sunday, I remind you once again of this year’s worship schedule:
Traditional worship service in the sanctuary at 11:00am. (In-person or online)
Family worship, egg hunt and food-truck fellowship at 12:30am. (Location: The Seneca Pavilion at Settlers Cabin). A food truck will be on hand, so bring a few extra dollars with you for lunch. And yes, it looks like there will be a significant chance of rain that day, so please do make preparations and join us in the park.
Traditional Tenebrae worship service in the sanctuary with the choir and communion at 7:00pm. (In-person or online)
In addition to our online Easter services, we will be having in-person worship services at 9am (Contemporary) and 11am (Traditional).
Finally, even as we ourselves make preparations to worship together this holy week, so let us also make sure to prepare our hearts and souls for what the Lord might do in our lives and the lives of those who do not yet know the Risen King. Again, we kick off holy week this coming Palm Sunday with the “Triumphal Entry.” My text is Luke 19:28-48 and the sermon is entitled “Enter the King!”
See you in church,
Billy
