FALL WORSHIP AND FRANKTUARY!
Wow! Wasn’t outdoor worship glorious this past Sunday!? Union Church— let me say just how proud I am for how you are navigating this crazy pandemic. Thank you for your ongoing faithfulness, patience, flexibility and the way you are caring for one another. It is a beautiful sight to behold and I thank God for you daily.
Because of the ongoing beautiful weather, and overall positive response, we will do one last outdoor worship service this coming Sunday, October 4th at 10:00AM. In addition, we will have a food truck on hand to provide lunch for you. The food truck for this Sunday is from “Franktuary.”
Perhaps you might consider inviting a friend or a family to join us in worship this Sunday? Heck, why not bribe them with a free hotdog and ice cream before the big game!? Oooops! No big game after all this Sunday. But if you are shy, feel free to send them this video welcome from the pastor.
Once again, we are asking of you to PLEASE…
Wear a mask if you choose (optional)
Physical distance as best as you can.
Bring a camping chair to sit on.
Bring a few extra bucks for lunch.
Bring some extra clothing (or blanket) as temperatures will likely be a little cooler this Sunday.
Finally, I will be resuming my sermon series in Revelation this Sunday. We will be skipping forward to Revelation 6:1-8 where we pull back the curtain and take a peak into the very throne room of heaven! The sermon title is “This Broken World” and trust me when I say the sermon will be heavenly.
See ya in church this Sunday!
Billy
WAIT! There is more… In lieu of Trunk or Treat this year, the DiscipleSHIP team will be hosting a harvest celebration on the night of October 23rd for the community to enjoy. Invite your friends to come and celebrate with dinner and fall themed activities; of course there will be CANDY! Look for more information to come in the bulletin and register your family today through the church app.
