Is the home a new front line?

Peace on the Homefront…

Kindness.
It’s amazing how a little kindness goes a long way to setting the tone for the home.

Family time. For meals. For prayer. To simply hang out with each other. Enjoy your togetherness.

Cheer up. Have a good time with each another.
Philippians 2:14…Live a cheerful life, without complaining or division among yourselves.

Be generous. The home is a place full of all kinds of giving opportunities.

Be Humble. A peaceful home is not a prideful home.

Apologize and Forgive quickly. Sensibly sensitive to be quick to apologize and don’t hold onto an offence or a grudge.

Pray often & openly. Pray for the evidence of God’s Spirit in your home…Gal 5:22-23…divine love in all its varied expressions: joy that overflows, peace that subdues, patience that endures, kindness in action, a life full of virtue, faith that prevails, gentleness of heart, and strength of spirit. Pray openly for daily wisdom and God’s provision and protection.

Be an Encourager not a Discourager. One word can make or break the day. “Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.” Ephesians 4:29

Love genuinely and sincerely. Unconditional love is God’s great gift available to us…but also meant to be shared through us 1 Peter 4:8 The Living Bible… Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love makes up for many of your faults.

We love you. We pray for you. We miss you. PJ&E
