Core Groups

Do you feel Connected?

Janice Shaw Crouse in 2014 in an article titled The Loneliness of American Society" says: unprecedented numbers of Americans are lonely. . . one in four — said that they have no one with whom they can talk about their personal troubles or triumphs.

Core groups are a great place to get connected with other believers while at the same time to grow in your understanding of God’s Word in a practical way.

Our Core Groups have 4 core elements taken from Acts 2:42-47 And they were continually devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer ... [they continued to meet in the temple and in their homes] ... and the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved (NASB)

1. To grow in our understanding and application of the Word of God to our lives personally.

2. To provide an environment where we experience important relationships with other believers through regular fellowship in a supportive group atmosphere.

3. To break bread together by eating of the same food that nourishes each another.

4. To learn to pray with and for each other.
