First Responders Appreciation Day is Sunday, June 2nd. In the parking lot, there will be equipment from the Sheriff's, Fire Department and MBAA. The Morongo Basin Station will be there with Patrol vehicles and little give aways for the kids. The Bomb Squad command post and bomb recovery robots will demonstrate how they assist in saving lives. The SWAT team will have an armored rescue unit along with SWAT gear that can be tried on. the CHP will have units here and talk to the people about traffic safety. The Fire Department will have fire engines and equipment for the public to see and explore. The equipment will be available for viewing from 8am-12:30pm.

Donuts and coffee will be available in the morning. Burgers and chips will be served for lunch.
