Two of the most famous former atheists came to a Truth for a New Generation conference outside of this North Carolina city to talk about how they ended up strong defenders of the fact Christ really did rise from the dead.

(Washington Stand) The Sunshine State is moving to protect children from “addictive” social media and the “danger” of online predators. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) signed a bill into law on Monday prohibiting minors under the age of 14 from opening or operating social media accounts on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and others.

H.B. 3 bars children under 14 “from creating new accounts” and requires “social media platforms to terminate certain accounts and provide additional options for termination of such accounts.”

(RedState) California Teachers Association (CTA) is big mad and also running scared. How do we know? Because pro-Parent board members are getting it from all sides, with spurious government lawsuits and online attacks.

CTA actually colluding to tank the will of the people? Consider this my shocked face. As one California education insider, who I spoke to on background, said, "This is absolutely a statewide strategy, but it is also absolutely a national strategy."

Our cultural and political elite now insist that men can become women, and vice versa, and that even children can consent to what they euphemistically call “gender-affirming care.” In a perfect inversion of reason and common sense, some Democratic lawmakers now want laws on the books forcing parents to affirm their child’s “gender identity” on the pain of having the child taken from them by the state for abuse.

(American Family News) After the United States Supreme Court refused to take up a transgender custody case from Indiana, an attorney representing a devastated mother and father predicts the high court can’t ignore the volatile issue forever.

The ongoing legal battle involves the Cox family, a devout Catholic family led by husband and wife Mary and Jeremy Cox. Their ongoing fight is with a state agency, Indiana Department of Child Services, which removed their teenage son from the home in 2021 after the parents refused to recognize him as a female.

(Washington Stand) It’s likely that the 2024 presidential election will be full of twists and turns that will surprise us. But one issue that is almost certainly not going anywhere is abortion, which promises to remain front and center in our political discourse for at least the next eight months. It is frequently in the news, most recently due to the U.S. Supreme Court’s oral arguments in FDA v. Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine, a case that will decide the future of the abortion drug mifepristone.

(Daily Wire) In the same Virginia county whose Board of Supervisors once voted to restrict the size of American flags, the county’s Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to observe its Transgender Day of Visibility on Easter, March 31, this year.

Although March 31 is the date when the Transgender Day of Visibility is marked every year, critics are furious that the holiest day on the Christian calendar will see the transgender celebration. County Board Chairman Jeff McKay, a Democrat, said the decision was the board’s “moral responsibility to stand up for all people, not just the people we like or the people we agree with.”

(California Globe) In a unanimous vote on Tuesday night, the Sacramento City Council voted to declare the city a sanctuary city for transgender people.

Authored by Sacramento City Councilwoman Katie Valenzuela, the resolution stated that “This proposal puts forward a draft resolution that would declare the City of Sacramento a sanctuary city for transgender people. The City of Sacramento is already a sanctuary city for immigrants; this proposed resolution would enact the same protections for transgender individuals.”
