The women’s study will begin Wednesday, September 9th at 9:30 AM in the Main Sanctuary. The men’s and women’s evening study will begin meeting on Thursday evenings starting September 10th at 7:00 PM. The women will meet in the Main Sanctuary and the men will meet in the Fellowship Hall. We will be studying the book of Exodus which is a 20-week study. Please purchase the Exodus study guide and complete lesson #1 prior to the first meeting. Childcare is available on Wednesday mornings only. No need to sign up.

Join us on Wednesday, September 9th for our monthly Wednesday Night Dinner. Dinner will be served in the Fellowship Hall beginning at 5:00 PM until 6:30 PM. Visit the website for more details.

All married couples are invited to join us Saturday, September 19th at 5:00 PM at Parnell Park for a sunset picnic. Bring all your own food, chairs, blankets, and any yard games you might have. Children are invited to come, as there will be some games available for them as well. So come join us as we continue to fellowship with other couples and strengthen our marriages as we seek Jesus together. More info can be found on our website.

On Saturday, October 31st from 5 PM to 9 PM, Morningstar will be hosting its first ever block party! This will be a great outreach event that has all new games for children, four different food stations, multiple stage performances for all ages, tons of candy, and so much more. This event will require the hands of many and starting next week in front of the church entrance, we will be taking sign-ups to volunteer for all the different activities. Please pray and see where you can play a part in this year’s Block Party.

Registration continues for our Women's One Day Retreat that will be held here at Morningstar Christian Chapel on Saturday, September 12th from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. The theme this year is, "Consider One Another" from Hebrews 10:24-25. You can register online, at the Information Counter, or in the Church Office during the week. Mark your calendar and begin to invite your friends to join us as we dig into God's Word together.

We will leave to El Hongo on Thursday, September 24th at 6:00 PM and return on Saturday, September 26th. Pray about joining the team as they go out to support the work of Calvary Chapel El Hongo.  Pick up a fact sheet and sign up online or at the Information Counter after service.

Dr. Jason Lisle will be back out from the Institute for Creation Research along with Dr. Tim Clarey as we explore how "Science Confirms Biblical Creation." This event will be held on October 9th & 10th and we will look into a variety of scientific fields that point back to a six-day creation.
