On Monday, May 6, let's join our hearts and voice in prayer to our Good Father for one another, our families, our church and our community. We are to come boldly to the throne of grace! The needs are great, but our God is greater.

PROTECT KIDS OF CALIFORNIA ACT OF 2024

Our Salt & Light Ministry is requesting that you please sign this petition. Half a million signatures are needed to get it on the ballot! Please educate yourself on the bill with the "Protect Kids California" link below.

About this initiative - The initiative will: (1) repeal the California law that permits male students to compete in female sports and male students to be in females' locker rooms and bathrooms; (2) prohibit schools from deceiving parents about their student's gender identity crisis and stop them from secretly transitioning a child; and (3) stop sex change operations and chemical castrations on minors.

We have secured a number of volunteers to serve at camp. Thank you! Currently, we are creating a wait list for volunteers as the need arises. Fellowship is so important to our church family and we so enjoy seeing everyone fully engaged. We do, however, have a request. The noise level in the foyer between services and after 2nd service begins, can be very loud. It is not a very large area, so sound travels into the sanctuary, especially as the door is opened and closed as people arrive. If you are engaged in conversation, and the service has begun, would you be so kind as to move outside to the courtyard to fellowship. If in the foyer, please be aware of the volume! This will be very helpful in not distracting those in worship. We appreciate your understanding . . . and your desire to fellowship!

>>> We would also ask that if you attend 2nd service and remain in the sanctuary to visit after service ends, that you please be aware of our 3rd service's need to prepare for their worship and service at 1:00 PM. Clearing the sanctuary as soon as we can after 2nd service will help them out and be much appreciated. Thank you!

2B1 is not just marriage events. We are a marriage ministry support team that offers confidential counseling and Marriage Mentors.

We understand that navigating marriage can be difficult at times, and we all need support at one time or another. Our desire is to support couples through difficult seasons by listening, offering support and encouraging a successful, healthy, Christ centered marriage. You can contact 2B1 by emailing us at 2b1@livingtruthcorona.org and letting us know you are interested in connecting with us and we will have one of our 2B1 team members get in contact with you. Even if you just desire prayer over your marriage, please send us an email. Your marriage is worth it.

If you are a member of LT and have a heart for children, please pray about how you can speak into the lives of our LT KIDS on Sundays or Kingdom Kids on Wednesdays. We are currently in need of SUBS - men and women - to help in the classrooms on both days when needed to fill in for a teacher or assistant. We also have openings in our Infant/Tot Spot areas as well. You can serve just once per month if desired. Join us on Wednesday nights. We start at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, but feel free to join us at 6:30 PM for pre-service hang outs! Our Youth Groups (7th-8th & 9th-12th) meet during our 10:30 AM Sunday service only. They join us in the main sanctuary on Sundays for worship and are then dismissed. This continues to be an exciting time for this LT ministry with outreach currently through radio, podcasts, and A Step Closer - a minisode series where Pastor Michael Lantz and others on the Walk in Truth team discuss topics and questions about life from a Christian perspective. Access through your favorite podcast app or the Walk in Truth website. Minisode topics include the resurrection, a heart felt discussion on abortion issues, anxiety, and our recent 6:33 on deconstruction of the Christian faith.

Each week - usually no later than Tuesday morning - we put out sermon questions based on the previous Sunday's message. Our small groups use these when they meet during the week.
