Lakeside’s “Better Together” Indoor Worship Service Sunday, May 31, 2020

The Coronavirus Pandemic has indeed been a fluid situation! Here at Lakeside we have had to constantly change our calendars and start-up plans. Our Governor has now extended the “Stay at Home” order to May 28, meaning it will have been 11 weeks since the Lakeside Family has been together in an indoor Worship Service. However, if the present “Stay at Home” order (as of May 7, 2020) remains in place, we are planning to celebrate Lakeside’s first indoor worship service with Holy Communion, on Sunday, May 31! Beginning May 31, Lakeside will implement a “Slow Start-Up Strategy” for services and ministries by erring on the side of caution for your health and safety. Limited abbreviated services and ministries will gradually start-up, practicing social distancing and instituting preventative health measures. All of the following plans and dates are dependent upon the current status of the present “stay at home” order, if it changes again, Lakeside’s calendar will need to be adjusted again.

Distribution to our Community's needy on Sunday, May 17, after they attend Lakeside's Drive-In Outreach Service. (The Gospel cannot be communicated if we utilize a state run food bank.)

Lakeside Kids Ministries is BACK with In-Person Services Sundays at 10AM. Nursery, Preschool, & Elementary Age Ministry are open.

We practice the following safety protocols:

FACE MASK - For kids mask will be optional.

SCREENING- Each child will have their temperature checked with a no contact thermometer at the Kids Check-in area Birth to 6th Grade before being Checked In. Parents or Guardians must be present at Check-in.

ILLNESS - If you or your child have flu like symptoms, fever, dry cough. Do not attend Lakeside Kids Ministries. We will send kids home if they have any symptoms.

PARENTS/GUARDIANS ON SITE - Children can not be dropped off at the church without Parent's or Guardians on site.

SOCIAL DISTANCING - Nursery and Preschool will do their best to keep kids apart. Elementary Ministry will be in the Gym . We will arrange seating to keep kids 6' apart. Children will sit individually.

Every Sunday Pastor Randy & Aaron Short will minister to our Lakeside Kids.

This is a Prayer and Blessing ministry. Pastors and Elders will pray blessings of protection and provision over car drivers and passengers practicing social distancing. We will provide this ministry at least once per month. Please look for when it is announced.
