Fuelled

Last Sunday we began our new series - Fuelled - based on the verse in Luke 10:27 which says: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind."

This series has been designed to be deeply practical. It aims to get people thinking about their own internal world – their physical, emotional, spiritual and mental ‘tanks’ and then to make changes.

If you still haven't got yourself a book - they will be available at church on Sunday. If you have purchased one that is printed incorrectly please feel free to bring it back for a new one.

The book has daily devotions and pages for notes for each sermon. If you click on the link below you will find the answers to the notes.

Our services are at 8 am, 10 am and 5:30 pm and streamed live at 8 am on Facebook and 10 am on YouTube. Otherwise, you can find it on YouTube later in the day.

Silent Retreat Weekend

Henri Nouwen says "“As long as our minds, hearts and hands are occupied, we can avoid confronting the painful questions, to which we never gave much attention and which we do not want to surface.” Not allowing ourselves to stop, be still and listen to the gentle whisper of the Lord prevents us from dealing with issues that are below the surface and hinders us from walking in the abundant life Jesus offers. Jesus "Himself often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed." (Luke 15:16 NKJV).

Be encourage to take time to withdraw in silence and solitude and join us on our weekend silent retreat.

Date: 21-23 June (Friday 18:00 till Sunday 13:30)
Venue: Coolock House (Port Shepstone)
Cost: R1400

Places on the retreat are limited so payment reserves your place. There are limited double rooms for couples.

Secure your place by clicking on the link below. Payment secures your booking and all details can be found in the registration form.

Living with open hands

The Bible teaches us in Malachi 3:10, "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the Lord Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it."

Tithing is not just a financial transaction; it is a spiritual discipline that aligns our hearts with God's purpose and allows us to be active participants in the plans He has.

If you have never tithed before and have questions, we'd love to chat. Email us on feedback@homeground.org.za
