  • The Train Team was Rod and Dawn Robinson.
  • The Popcorn Team was Sean Gearson, Christy Cobb, Carmen Jackson, and the Tuesday ladies Bible Class.
  • The Hayride was Cathy Thrasher’s Reach Group.

We also appreciate the candy donations that many of you made.

What fun memories were made and our prayer is that some of our guests will visit us again.

Make-A-Wish Bake Sale - Sunday, October 27

This Sunday, we would love for our HCM families to donate cakes and pies and cookies for our Make A Wish Bake Sale. We hope you will get with your children and bake up one of your family favorites to donate to the sale. All money raised goes to help fund the Make A Wish that we granted for the Yeouze family. We will have tables set up in the Commons for you to drop off your items.

Coins for Kids - November 3

On November 3, Timothy Hill Ranch will be having a dinner at Greystone Stables. Highland is a ministry partner with Timothy Hill and our support for them is so important. This Sunday, we will have “Coins from Kids” canisters available for our HCM kids to bring home and collect “Quarters for Timothy Hill”. We will present these to Timothy Hill at the dinner on November 3 so please plan for your child to bring them back to church on Sunday, November 3. We really hope that we can help our students understand how others will be blessed by our efforts. (And parents… start collecting those quarters that are in drawers and in the couch cushions)

Veteran’s Dinner – Friday, November 8

We need the 4th and 5th and 6th graders to serve at this event. We will have aprons for each server and we need them to wear black, navy or khaki pants and a white shirt. Please drop off your students at Highland by 5:30 so we can get our aprons on and have a short training. We will gather in The Crossing. After our serving duties are done, we will gather back in the Crossing to eat some pizza and be ready for pick up at 7:00.
