Scroll down to the very bottom of the lesson, past the "Notes" section.  You will see that you have an option to email the lesson to yourself, where you can then print out the study to use.

Once you email the study to yourself, highlight the body of the study and right click on your mouse to "copy" it.  Then go to your Word doc (or whatever document program you use) and open a new document page.  Change the margins in your page layout from 1 inch to .3 inches, and change the orientation from portrait to landscape, then "paste" the study you copied onto your new doc page.  You will then be able to manipulate the format and do your study on your computer.  Make sure to save your study as a document when you are finished so you can print it out.

1. Review I Thessalonians 3:1-13. What application are you making from these verses to your life?

a. Recall what you learned about the love believers are to have for others.

2. I Thessalonians 4:1-18 deals primarily with three subjects. Identify these from the following passages of Chapter Four:

verses 13-18

3. According to I Thessalonians 4:1-2 what did Paul address in this part of his letter?

a. How strongly did he feel about it?

b. List a few practical ways you can please God. Be specific.

4. What do you learn about the will of God from each of the following verses:

a. Rewrite this verse in your own words.

5. Seriously consider the meaning of I Thessalonians 4:8 as you print this verse here phrase by phrase.

a. Why do you think God cares so much about our sexual purity?

b. Write a note of appreciation to the Lord for giving you His Holy Spirit to help you walk in holiness instead of uncleanness (vs7).

6. In I Thessalonians 4:9-10 we see Paul address the Thessalonian believers' relationships with one another. What did he tell them that still applies to believers today?

7. Evidently the church in Thessalonica was known for their love for each other as well as the believers in Macedonia. Link this to John 13:34-35. What do you see?

8. Even though the Thessalonians had love Paul wanted them to increase more and more in love for one another. What additional instructions did he give them that are recorded for us in I Thessalonians 4:11?

a. The results of obedience to these instructions are found in verse 12. What are they?

9. The remainder of Chapter Four of I Thessalonians focuses on the return of Christ.  Paul did not want them to be ignorant about believers who had already died. Briefly summarize what he explained to them about this from verses 13-15.

10. Use I Thessalonians 4:16-17 to write a newspaper article reporting what it will be like when the Lord comes for His Church.

11. Therefore comfort one another with these words. I Thessalonians 4:18. Why would these words (verses 13-17) comfort the believers then as well us today?

12. Choose one of the following subjects and share a way the Lord ministered to you through the lesson about: pleasing Him, sexual purity, love, the Lord's return. Do all if you desire.
