The men of CCL and their sons (10yr.+) are invited to this Men's Breakfast and Fellowship, Saturday, January 11th from 8:00am til 10:00am at the church. We have new kitchen equipment to "break in" and some great cooks ready to prepare one grinds for us.

This is a great opportunity for the men to join our hearts as brothers in the body and fellowship together. All Men are encouraged to attend and bring a friend.

We need your help this Saturday (tomorrow) from about 8am-3pm as we're cleaning out the unit we used for storage, and organizing our mezzanine storage and kitchen.

Next Thursday begins our 2nd annual church Family Camp! We've secured Camp Hale Koa for June 27th-30th. Families, Couples and Singles are all invited.

The cost for 4-days/3-nights is $60 for singles, $115 for married couples, $195 for families of four or more! If you can't come for the entire time, you can come up Thursday-Saturday, or Friday-Sunday.

The cost for 3-days/2-nights is $45 for singles, $85 for married couples, $150 for families of four or more!

Camp Hale Koa has 8 cabins with 10 beds each, so you'll be sleeping in guys/girls cabins. Tent camping is also available.

Please pray for the team that left this morning on our very first short term missions trip to the Philippines. They'll be doing evangelism in villages, schools, hospitals, and in the streets. We will also be visiting dignitaries, orphans and supporting our missionaries, Pastor JunJun and his wife Novie, and working on repair projects. Keep praying until they return July 16th.

Our VBS program dates have been changed unti October 7th-11th at our new church home from 9am to 12noon. VBS is for children from ages 3yrs – 5th grade. Twice every month, Jon & Liz bring church to the residents of Mahelona in Kapaa on the 2nd & 4th Thursdays, from 9:30-10:30am.

Ohanas For Jesus is lead by Jon & Elizabeth Suenaga. They have a heart to gather the kapunas (elder saints) of the church to fellowship together and to begin ministering to families together, sharing their wisdom and experience and even sharing their time to help others.

John "Rusty" Birkeland first traveled to Macau to work in a Christian medical clinic since 1980. God granted him the ability to quickly learn the language, and so he opened a live-in drug rehabilitation ministry. He met his wife Kitty from Hong Kong as she was coming to Macau to do ministry.

They have been married 23 years and have four wonderful children, Robby, Rachel, Heather and Sam. Rusty has been pastoring Horizon Christian Fellowship Macau for over 33 years, and actively disciple churches in mainland China.
