E-Bulletin Closing Down!

Spring is nearly upon us! In the spirit of new beginnings, we are also announcing that the E-bulletin is going to be revamped and re-energized from the ground up. Out with the old, in with the new!

We know that for many of you, the E-bulletin is your preferred method of staying informed about our latest events. Well, don't worry, the E-bulletin format is here to stay. Currently however, it is linked to our old church app which is no longer in use. When the old app is shut down, so will the old E-Bulletin.

The upcoming, improved Calvary Newsletter will now be delivered straight to your email and to our new app. It will feature all of the church's latest news and upcoming events just as you've come to expect.

If you'd like to receive the new Calvary Newsletter, keep your ears open for an announcement coming soon. We don't have a premiere date yet, but we are working hard to provide this form of communication for you.

Resolve Bible Study

Ladies! Please join us for the Resolve Women's Bible Study by Priscilla Shirer, Discerning the Voice of God. With so many voices speaking into our lives, now more than ever we need to be able to discern God's Voice. He is speaking!

Join us starting Friday, April 2nd at 10:00 am or Tuesday, April 6th at 7:00 pm. This is an 8-week study. Please sign up online or in the hall. Childcare will be provided for the Friday morning sessions. If you are an adult and would like to help with childcare even on a rotation, please let us know!

We will have a few books available in the bookstore or feel free to purchase your own book online. You may buy a used one, but make sure it isn't written in. Come with your book to the first class.

We hope you will join us!

Calvary Kids

As our children's ministry continues to grow at a rapid pace, we ask that you would pray about serving today! We are in need of helpers, teachers, nursery volunteers, check-in assistance, and cleaning help! Make sure you have been here for 6 months or longer before you sign up to serve.

Street Hope Donations

Garland Oaks, a safe home for girls who are survivors of domestic minor sex trafficking, is in need of supplies. The home is designed to provide a safe and healing environment for each resident free of charge.

Our church will be collecting feminine products, laundry detergent pods, and disposable paper towels for the home. You can drop these items off at the table in the hall, and remember to be praying for them, specifically for the House Mother, who will be directly ministering to these girls every day.

Stop by the info booth for more information on how to help.

Resurrection Week

Here's what you need to know about Resurrection Week at Calvary.

  • Sunday, March 28th, we'll kick off the week with our Palm Sunday Service.
  • Then, Wednesday, March 31st, join us for a time of communion and afterglow. Come early to partake in our Wednesday meal. This will be taking the place of April's meal, so be sure to mark your calendar.
  • And finally, on April 4th, we'll begin Resurrection Sunday with a Sunrise Service at 7 AM in place of our 8 AM service. (This will be the exact same teaching as our second and third services, which will remain at their normal times.)

The kids will join us in the sanctuary, with childcare provided only for those five years old and younger. There will be no Sunday Evening Services, so enjoy that time at home with your friends and family.

The Making of a Man of God

This March, add to your daily study The Making of a Man of God by Alan Redpath. This book explores the life of David, from his training in hardship and hiding to his ascension to the throne of Israel.

Whether you are looking for ways to grow in your role as a man of God, you’re raising up boys in the Lord, or you’re simply interested in the life of David, this book will offer excellent insight and counsel through its in-depth study of this Shepherd King.

Pick up your copy in the hall or at the church bookstore.
