We know that as Christians we are supposed to represent and share Christ with our neighbors and coworkers. But what if my neighbor is from another country or grew up with a different cultural or religious background such as Hindu, Muslim, or Buddhist? More and more, God is sending people from other countries to move into our neighborhoods and college dorm floors. They are our friends, neighbors, classmates, coworkers, waiters at our favorite restaurants, etc. How are we supposed to approach them and how can we explain the gospel to them in ways that they will understand?
Come study what the Bible tells us about welcoming foreigners and learn from people who are professionals at cross-cultural outreach so that you can feel confident about befriending and sharing Christ with your friends who are from other cultural backgrounds!
Dates: Tuesdays, September 4th - December 11th Time: 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm Location: Olive Branch Community Church 7702 El Cerrito Road, Corona, CA 92881 Prices: - Key Reading and Certificate Levels*:
- For individuals: $275 per person
- For married couples: $500 total for both of you (claim the $50 family discount on the second person that you register) or $470 if you share a reading book (claim the $30 book discount).

Childcare? Unfortunately, our class does not have the resources to provide childcare. However, we offer a $50 discount on the class fee for couples so that you can spend that $50 on a babysitter. In other words, our Perspectives class could also serve as your date night for this Fall! We even dare to say that Perspectives is one of the best investments you could make in your marriage because Perspectives will help you figure out how you could most effectively use your God given roles and strengths as a married couple to be a blessing to all the people that the Lord has placed in your life.
If you have any questions, feel free to email or text 951 870 3836.
*Key Reading Level: This class includes assigned articles to read each week outside of class along with question-answer sheets to fill out each week based on the assigned readings. If you are a busy parent or someone who has very little free time, the Key Reading level is for you. You don't even need to commit to come every week! Just come to as many classes as you can and read whenever you have time! Even if you can only come to half of the lessons, we can promise you that the encouragement you will receive from attending whenever you can will still be well worth your time and the class price!
Certificate Level: If you do have a few hours of free time most weeks, we highly recommend that you at least try the Certificate Level. The Certificate Level assigns more articles to read each week, but you will be wowed by the amazing stories in the readings and gain so much more wisdom! Also, if you complete each lesson you will receive a Certificate of Completion and be qualified to lead and/or volunteer for a Perspectives class in your own city in the future!
Credit Level: California Baptist University will accept our Perspectives class for credit equal to the ICS305 Global Perspectives course offered on campus. If you are enrolled at any other local Christian university, college or seminary, contact and we will help you find out if your school will accept Perspectives for credit.
*If for some reason the class ends up being canceled or after attending the first lesson on September 4th, you decide not to continue attending, you can receive a full refund by emailing or notifying one the Perspectives Team Members in person! After the second week you can receive a 50% refund, but after the third week we will no longer be able to give you a refund.

Communicating the gospel with relevance at the worldview level helps avoid syncretism (blending of cultural error with God?s truth) and also enables powerful movements of the gospel. Sensitive missionaries will look for ways that God has preserved or prepared people to hear the gospel, often finding redemptive analogies for God's truth.

Her passion for Christ took her on a 30-year journey of adventure as she walked on burning coals, assisted with eye clinics in Mexico, participated in medical relief efforts in Bolivia, planted pioneer businesses in Asia and Africa, came face to face with the persecuted church in Orissa, and served widows in the rainforest of Panama. Now she is committed full time to taking the Gospel to the nations through Pioneer Business Planting, building Kingdom businesses, and gobalization! b

Lesson 13
The Spontaneous Multiplication of Churches
Look beyond institutional features of churches to understand churches as dynamic movements of Christ Himself being followed. Such a view of churches as organic, living things opens up the practicality of seeing them multiply rapidly as movements and also flourish in society bearing the fruit of social transformation. Churches as counter-communities, acting as salt and light, bringing change to their cultures. How movements multiply by connecting with entire families and larger social structures.
